The ACRL Government Relations Committee has been working diligently over the past year to revise and finalize the 2022 ACRL Legislative Agenda. Currently, the committee is making final updates to the document before sending it to the ACRL Board, who will vote to approve the agenda. One purpose of the Legislative Agenda is to provide a voice for ACRL as issues related to the Agenda arise. One the ACRL Board approves the 2022 Legislative Agenda, it will be shared with the entire membership. Because ALA Annual will be in Washington, D.C. in June, there was no National Library Legislation Day this year. Look for more information about Advocacy and lobbying at ALA Annual soon.
